She loves her swing. I think this picture is so funny. I did not mean to take it when she was crossed eyed. The swing has lights on it and she loves to watch them, thats why her eyes are like that.

Update

Jayla had her 2 month appointment yesterday. I can't believe that she weighed 13 lbs and 3 oz!! I was thinking she was maybe 12 lbs. Looks like I have a big baby:) I love it though. I always thought I wanted a small baby (that was true when she was born) but now I just love all her rolls. At least I don't have to worry if she is getting enough to eat:)

Jason bought me a little notebook laptop!! I can finally check email, facebook and blogs during the day. I also want to start making a scrapbook for Jayla on shutterfly. However, now I have to download all her pics on my computer. I erased them off the camera so now I need to transfer them from Jason's laptop onto a jump drive. I am TERRIBLE with computers so this will be interesting.

Jason is done with work on the 16th!! He likes to save up his vacation time for Dec. We are looking forward to Christmas shopping with Jayla. It will be her first time to the mall. I hope it goes well. She has not been doing good in her stroller. Grocery shopping has been a nightmare lately.

We had a great Thanksgiving. We left last Tuesday night and stayed at my parents house. Then last weekend we went on a little mini Huber vacation in Rockville, IN. Jason's family tries to get together every year for a vacation. We like to stay in a cabin. After the weekend, Jason came back up to Gurnee and I stayed in Francesville. On Wed. I went with Tess, Alisha and Dani for a bridesmaid dress fitting in Bluffton. It was nice to finally get back to my house after being gone for a whole week.

This Tuesday I head back to Francesville for Tess's bridal shower. Then her wedding is the 13th. On the 23rd we go back for Christmas. Lots of trips to Francesville:) I told my mom I should just stay all month:)

Random

Last weekend was my cousin Tess's personal shower. Dani Wuethrich hosted it. Dani made the awesome shirt that Tess is wearing (below). I can't believe that Tess is getting married and moving to CO. I'm so going to miss her.

What do you do?

So question....Do you put the car seat on top of the shopping cart?

I don't know if it's safe or not. I have been using my Ergo carrier to go grocery shopping or just putting the car seat on the stroller. The thing is, you can't fit many groceries in the bottom of the stroller and in the winter time the Ergo carrier is not ideal. I really want to put the car seat on top of the cart but just didn't know if I should. I mean, I see people do it all the time. So I thought I would ask and get your advice. How do you go grocery shopping with an infant, when you need a lot of groceries?

One Month

WOW!!! One month old already. Time does go by fast. Tomorrow is her one month dr. appt. I'm excited to see how much weight she has gained. She has a double chin so I'm not worried that she is not putting on enough weight. She is a very good eater:)

My good friend Wendy and her daughter Ella came to visit us last Thursday. Wendy's mom Rita came along as well. It was so nice to see them. Ella was a lot of fun!!

This past Saturday Nick, Sandra and boys came to visit us. I just love this picture of the kiddos. Jayla will be in good hands having 3 older boy cousins to protect her:)
